Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineer to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects in Maine and across our client base. You will perform research, develop concepts, and support the project team using current drawing tools to help deliver successful outcomes.

Open only to current or former HNTB interns, this role expects strong collaboration, organization, and a foundational understanding of engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or related software.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Support engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development and design of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
