Job summary

HNTB is seeking a licensed engineer to produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for assigned projects. You will consult with the project manager to perform research, development, calculations, design and delivery, applying engineering techniques to projects of varying size.

You may mentor junior staff, develop conceptual and detailed designs, and collaborate with clients and teammates to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to schedule and budget on projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline.
