Job summary

HNTB is seeking a student or recent graduate to assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. You will perform research, development, calculations, design and delivery with the project team, applying engineering techniques and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity.

You will help develop conceptual and detailed designs using current drawing tools to support project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
Understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation).

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Supports preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Assists in preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Supports engineering teams with research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
