Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks an Associate Engineer for our Aiken, SC site to contribute to DOE-standard solutions across mechanical, chemical, electrical, and nuclear domains.

The position targets new graduates with a Bachelor’s in Engineering; supports learning, applies engineering methods, and collaborates with senior staff on project tasks within SRMC’s Savannah River Site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or in progress with expected graduation by Aug 31, 2027.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices desirable.
• GPA 2.8 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions to technical tasks or project objectives.
• Assist senior staff and perform related activities in tasks of increasing complexity.
• Support studies, development, testing and analysis of designs or procedures.
