Job summary

WEG Electric Corp in Duluth, GA, is seeking a Project Manager I to lead orders from inception to delivery within our medium/high voltage motors and drives portfolio. You will be the primary client contact, drive milestones, and coordinate with manufacturing sites and vendors to ensure on‑time project completion.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in technical projects, a B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
0–3 years of experience, preferably with some exposure to technical projects.
Interest in pursuing PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary customer liaison for assigned orders throughout the order lifecycle.
Lead handover meetings with the sales team and conduct kickoff meetings for your orders.
Establish and track milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria aligned with contractual requirements.
Manage order scope and process change orders.
Coordinate with team members to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Coordinate with in‑house manufacturing sites and third‑party vendors.
Prepare and deliver status reports to leadership.
Conduct site visits with customers and vendors as needed.
Perform regular progress and financial reviews for your assigned orders.
Ensure timely revenue recognition and milestone invoice processing.
Coordinate logistics and shipping requirements.
