Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Project Manager II for the Customer Service Aftermarket Team to lead multiple orders from inception to delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time, within-budget results.

You will serve as the primary client liaison, establish milestones, manage scope and changes, and apply PM methodologies to drive project success in electrical and rotating equipment projects.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of total experience with project management in electrical or rotating equipment industries.
• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 25-50% travel or project assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer liaison throughout order and project lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead handover with sales team, conduct kickoff meetings, and maintain comprehensive project plans.
• Establish clear milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria aligned with contractual requirements.
• Manage project scope, process change orders, and ensure proper approvals.
• Provide Technical Leadership to field personnel and apply PM methodologies for quality delivery.
• Drives operational excellence and timely revenue recognition.
