Job summary

Pride Mobility Products Corporation seeks an embedded firmware engineer to develop, code and verify medical device software. You will collaborate with hardware teams, design firmware in C/C++ for 8- and 32-bit MCUs, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory processes.

You will document software, create test plans, execute verification tests, and help drive continuous improvement while meeting timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year developing firmware for embedded systems.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop embedded systems.
• Design and code firmware in C/C++ for MCU-based systems.
• Document software during development per internal processes.
• Create and execute test plans; verify conformance to requirements.
• Ensure safety, security and regulatory requirements are observed.
• Meet project timelines and budgets; participate in SDLC activities.
