Job summary

Resonant Link Medical is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to own embedded implementations for customer programs across MCU platforms and hardware architectures. You will develop low-level firmware, hardware interfaces, and verification methods while working hands-on in the lab to diagnose complex hardware-firmware interactions.

You will collaborate with platform, electrical, and test engineers to deliver scalable embedded solutions, produce clear technical documentation, and support firmware

Qualifications

• Strong experience in embedded software and firmware development for resource-constrained MCUs.
• Proficiency in embedded C, with clear, maintainable production code.
• Strong understanding of schematics, datasheets, timing diagrams, hardware specs.
• Hands-on firmware/hardware bring-up, debugging with lab tools.
• Experience with RTOS-based and bare-metal systems.
• Deep familiarity with MCU peripherals (timers, DMA, ADCs, PWM, GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART).
• Ability to adapt across MCUs and hardware platforms.
• Experience implementing and debugging hardware-software interfaces and device drivers.
• Disciplined, problem-solving with root-cause resolution.
• Excellent technical documentation and cross-functional communication.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded implementation for customer programs from requirements to delivery.
• Adapt embedded software across applications and MCUs; bring up new hardware.
• Develop low-level firmware and hardware interfaces for reliable control and communication.
• Lab bring-up, testing, and debugging of embedded systems.
• Resolve hardware-firmware issues across MCUs, sensors, and power electronics.
• Create clear technical documentation: requirements, design decisions, tests, risks.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Work with platform and test engineers to apply standardized architecture and tooling.
• Promote reuse of software, tools, and test methods across programs.
