Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system layouts and functionality.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time taken.
• Adhere to safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting complex electrical problems.
• Help manage inventory of spare parts and materials related to electrical maintenance.

Requirements

• National Diploma or N3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Heavy Current) or equivalent trade qualification.

• Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers).
