Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and a strong willingness to learn.
• No prior electrical field service experience required; 0–2 years preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures, safety instructions, and basic technical documentation.
• Must be at least 18; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfort with basic computer use and willingness to learn field reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic visual inspections under supervision and report findings.
• Assist with cleaning, lubrication, and basic mechanical checks on field equipment.
• Stage tools, test equipment, and parts at the work site; support setup and teardown.
• Assist with measurements such as voltage, continuity, and insulation resistance under supervision.
• Record observations, readings, and equipment data on test sheets.
