Adams, Inc. in Elkhorn, WI is hiring a Junior Electrical Estimator to help prepare bids and support projects from concept through completion. You will work with experienced estimators and leaders to learn the estimating process while developing solid project management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of electrical construction or related construction experience preferred.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
• Complete quantity takeoffs and material counts
• Assist with developing project estimates and proposals
• Gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Help prepare bid packages and project documentation
• Participate in project site visits and pre-bid meetings
• Support project managers during project startup and execution
• Assist with change order pricing and estimate revisions
• Maintain estimating records and pricing databases
• Learn and develop advanced estimating and project management skills
