Qualifications
- 2+ years Electrical Construction Estimation experience
- Ability to read plans/specs for select disciplines
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Accubid, AutoCAD, PowerPoint; estimating and scheduling software a plus
- BS/BA in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; 5+ years in electrical construction may substitute for degree
Responsibilities
- Own full cycle of estimating and analysis, with support from Sr. Estimator
- Analyze drawings and specifications to extract required information
- Develop cost estimates by soliciting pricing from vendors/sub-contractors
- Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and unit prices for review
- Train and lead Junior Estimators
- Meet critical deadlines and maintain accuracy
- Periodically visit jobsites
