Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Grad in Raleigh, NC to work with experienced engineers delivering electrical systems for buildings. You will assist with analysis, design, and oversight, supporting budgets and client expectations while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities include design and analysis, preparing designs and calculations, and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• EIT certification required or in Training stage.
• Prior internship in building design consulting preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiar with lighting calculations and energy compliance tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of electrical systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software.
• Support client interactions by gathering requirements and communicating technical information.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to project execution, including scheduling support to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and project progress.
• Identify safety risks and help mitigate them.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
