Job summary

IMEG Corp in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Graduate to support the design, analysis, and implementation oversight of building electrical systems. You will work on hospitality and MEP projects, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams from planning through documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) required.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and concepts for technical plans and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics related to building electrical systems.
• Proficiency with industry software tools (AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, ComCheck, Adobe/Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings, creating detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code and IMEG standards.
• Assist with engineering analysis and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.
• Gather project requirements and communicate technical information to clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support projects to align with budgets, goals, and client expectations.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and instructions while monitoring progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to meet standards and client requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to R&D and innovation within IMEG.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate risks in electrical systems.
