Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking an EI&C Engineer to collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on custom project designs for water treatment facilities. You will participate in customer-facing factory acceptance tests, commissioning support, and development of instrumentation, electrical, and control programming solutions.

The role emphasizes learning across EI&C design, with collaboration across production facilities and client meetings to ensure quality, schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
• Preferred: understanding of hydraulics, water chemistry and fundamentals of fluid mechanics.
• Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, HMI and SCADA design and programming.
• Low Voltage Power Distribution System design knowledge.
• Professional Engineer or EIT designation.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents including P&IDs and process guidelines.
• Perform required calculations and select instrumentation for water treatment facilities and prepare instrument datasheets.
• Design complete electrical and process control documentation for water treatment facilities.
• Perform FATs, CVTs and commissioning support as required.
• Develop automation deliverables including test plans, programs, and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule and report risks to project teams.
