Job summary

Veolia is seeking an EI&C Engineer to join the Water Technology group in the United States. You will lead instrumentation, electrical, controls and programming design for water treatment facilities, supporting production and client-facing factory acceptance tests through commissioning.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, proficiency with control systems, PLC, HMI/SCADA, and knowledge of low voltage distribution. Occasional travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GA drawings, guidelines).
• Perform calculations and select instrumentation for water facilities with supporting docs.
• Design detailed electrical diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, networks, panels and schematics.
• Create control philosophy and logic for plant operation.
• Support FATs, CVTs and commissioning.
• Develop automation deliverables including test plans and network design.
• Budget, scope, schedule management; report risks and opportunities.
