Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Senior EI&C Engineer to lead the electrical/instrumentation design for complex water treatment projects. You will prepare instrument lists, datasheets, panel schematics, and I/O lists, while mentoring juniors and possibly leading a team on large initiatives.

The role requires UL/CEC expertise, experience in Class 1 Div 2 areas, and strong communication for client interactions. Some travel and a hybrid work model are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial control system design.
• Experience with UL/CEC compliance and Class 1 Div 2 areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents, including P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines, return of experience, and engineering best practices guides.
• Interpret, comment and follow complex, extensive contract and customer specifications.
• Perform required calculations and select the appropriate instrumentation for water treatment facilities as well as all supporting documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
• Select equipment and design complex low voltage industrial control systems in compliance with UL and CEC for water treatment facilities.
• Support project bids, provide technical guidance and lead creative solutions to meet customer requirements.
