Job summary

Omitron is seeking a Junior Field Services Technician to support the SPARTAN effort in Colorado Springs, CO. This hands‑on role covers deployment, installation, configuration, integration, and sustainment of SPARTAN network infrastructure at government and partner locations.

The Junior Field Services Technician is a hands‑on technical position responsible for assisting with the installation and configuration of network equipment, cabling, rack‑mounted systems, and supporting infrastructure.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Security Clearance: ability to obtain Secret and Top-Secret SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic network installation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network equipment (routers, switches, patch panels, cabling).
• Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements.
• Test and verify network connectivity post-installation.
• Maintain installation documentation and rack elevations.
• Troubleshoot hardware or connectivity issues on-site.
• Travel up to 50% to government/remote locations.
