Omitron, Inc. seeks a Junior Field Services Technician to support the SPARTAN program in Colorado Springs, CO.

The role involves deployment, installation, configuration, integration, and sustainment of SPARTAN network infrastructure at Government and partner locations. This hands-on position assists with installation of network equipment, cabling, rack-mounted systems, and supporting infrastructure under supervision of SPARTAN Install Team Leads and senior engineers.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance and eligibility for Top-Secret SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with basic network installation equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and installation procedures.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network equipment (routers, switches, patch panels, cabling).
• Perform site surveys and ensure readiness for installation.
• Test connectivity and verify equipment functionality post-installation.
• Develop and maintain as-built documentation, rack elevations, cables, and test results.
• Troubleshoot on-site hardware or connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate installation site documentation and inventories.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams and provide progress updates.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
• Travel up to 50% to Government and remote locations.
