Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is seeking a junior analyst to join the Door-to-Home reporting and analytics team in Provo. You will build and maintain SQL-based reporting views and Tableau dashboards to support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles.

You will partner with sales leaders to translate requirements into clear outputs, audit data for accuracy, and assist with ad hoc analyses. Strong SQL, Tableau, and Excel skills, plus attention to detail, are essential in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL - able to write and troubleshoot queries independently.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau for building and maintaining dashboards.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data formatting)
• Solid attention to detail and a methodical approach to auditing data
• Strong communication skills - able to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SQL-based reporting views and queries in Snowflake for daily/weekly/monthly cycles.
• Develop and refresh Tableau dashboards for sales leadership and corporate audiences.
• Create and manage Excel-based reports, models, and data summaries for operational and budget tracking.
• Audit and troubleshoot existing reports to identify discrepancies, data quality issues, or logic errors - and fix them.
• Partner with sales leaders to understand reporting needs and translate those into clear outputs.
• Support corporate-facing reporting deliverables including operating metrics, budget summaries, and performance tracking.
• Assist with ad hoc data pulls and analysis as needed by leadership
