Job summary

Cognify Global is seeking a motivated Junior Controls Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming to join our growing engineering team. You will support the design, programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems across customer sites and industries.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and project managers, travel to customer sites about 25% of the time, and contribute to FAT/SAT activities while building

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation.
• Hands-on PLC programming, troubleshooting, or system configuration.
• Familiarity with at least one PLC platform (Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider Electric, or Omron).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and fast learner; good teamwork.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement industrial control systems.
• Support PLC programming, troubleshooting and system modifications.
• Develop HMIs, configurations, and integration.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and automation equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, PMs and customers to deliver projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and drawings.
• Travel to customer sites as required (~25%).
