Job summary

Mulberry Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned company seeking an accounting leader to oversee operations and drive improved financial visibility. You’ll work closely with the GM and fractional CFO to strengthen processes and position the organization for the next phase of growth.

You'll have the opportunity to influence key financial decisions, advance toward a full Controller role, and contribute to modernizing accounting processes in a stable, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong financial reporting and general accounting knowledge.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in construction, field services, project-based businesses, or similar industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready financial records.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial visibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
