Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a high-impact Controller to own the accounting function, strengthen processes, and partner with executive leadership on profitability, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and controls.

Based in Birmingham, AL, this role offers direct visibility to the C-suite, opportunities to drive month-end close, improve ERP systems, and build a robust control environment across manufacturing and distribution

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of accounting and leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing or distribution and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the accounting function and guide the day-to-day activities of the accounting team
• Drive an efficient month-end close and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to company leadership
• Oversee key areas of the financial operation, including receivables, payables, credit, fixed assets, and inventory
• Lead the budgeting and financial analysis process, turning financial results into meaningful business insights
• Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and that the company’s financial information remains accurate and reliable
• Manage tax, audit, year-end, and other external financial reporting requirements
• Champion improvements to accounting processes and systems, including ERP enhancements that make the business more efficient
