Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to analyze and design client employee rewards programs, including compensation, fringe benefits, and retirement plans. You will develop client deliverables, explain complex concepts, and participate in client meetings and site visits with senior management.

The role requires a degree in related fields, strong GPA, and the ability to research tax and employment law guidance. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, math, accounting, statistics, or other related field, or a juris doctorate with coursework in tax and/or employment law.
• Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented leader with problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, organizational, and technical skills.
• Ability to research and analyze tax and employment law guidance and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design employee rewards programs to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing client deliverables, including detailed reports and presentations explaining complex concepts.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management.
• Collaborate with clients to develop cost-effective and competitive rewards solutions.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
