Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an Entry-Level Project Scheduler for our Belton Division in Texas. The role supports the preparation, updating, and maintenance of project schedules while collaborating with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and other team members.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of project scheduling, project controls, engineering, or construction experience preferred.
• Heavy civil construction internship/co-op experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of Primavera P6; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incorporating subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule.
• Participate in project-site visits to learn construction processes and methods.
• Update project schedules under supervision of a senior scheduler or project manager.
• Enter and review activity, resource, and progress data in Primavera P6 and related systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project staff and subcontractors.
• Support development of bid and proposal schedules for preconstruction efforts.
• Review plans/specs and assist with basic quantity takeoffs and duration calculations.
• Develop baseline CPM schedules and coordinate with field operations.
