Job summary

Vaco of Highspring is seeking a motivated Construction Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will assist in planning, client communications, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution under a Senior Project Manager.

This entry-level to mid-level role offers onsite work with occasional remote days, travel to sites, and a salary between $70,000 and $85,000 with a bonus up to 10% of annual pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant construction experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors is desirable.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and activities for delivery.
• Attend client meetings and document discussions with minutes.
• Process RFIs and submittals; track progress.
• Maintain procurement logs and monitor equipment lead times.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Develop relationships with clients and project teams.
• Serve as primary communication point for projects.
• Support documentation, reporting, and administration.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
