Qualifications

• Required Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2-5 years of construction and estimating experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organization and time management skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer skills.
• Preferred 2-5 years of experience in estimating commercial/industrial construction.
• Experience with coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and Bidding: Take-off under direction of Level II/Senior Estimator; prepare bids for interiors, exteriors, site work, and structures.
• Pursue and prepare bid cards; clarify inclusions/exclusions; input take-off quantities and pricing.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and coordination with field staff.
• Support business development and client/firms open houses; participate in preconstruction meetings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project partners to gather pricing and scope information.
