Job summary

McGough is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts on complex construction projects. You will interpret specifications, prepare detailed quantity surveys, and manage bid development from self-performed to general conditions.

Strong communication, analytical, and scheduling input are essential. The role requires a four-year degree and 10+ years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Excel and On-Screen Takeoff.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of construction and estimating experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee take-off and quantity surveys across projects.
• Develop and manage bid cards, scopes and pricing.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for bids and RFI responses.
• Prepare estimates for self-performed, subcontracted and general conditions work.
• Mentor Estimator I/II and support project teams with scheduling input.
• Support pursuit activities and client meetings as needed.
• Contribute to PMI/Lean initiatives and McGough standards.
