Job summary

Decision Technologies, Inc. seeks a Junior Combat Systems Engineer to analyze multi-element weapon suites, map digital architectures, and verify performance through modeling, simulation, and live fleet testing on-site in Arlington, VA.

You will work with senior systems architects to ensure integrated defense technologies operate cohesively in high‑stress environments, with eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance considered essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required (per listing).
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in multi-element fire control and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain digital system‑of‑systems models using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Define interface control documents and data flows between sensors, weapons, and C2 baselines.
• Analyze requirements and perform traceability across the lifecycle using DOORS.
• Analyze end‑to‑end fire control loops from detection to intercept and evaluate latency.
• Run simulations in MATLAB/Python and assess sensor fusion under complex scenarios.
• Participate in end‑to‑end test planning, execution, and data analysis for live-fire events.
• Review ECPs, SE TRs, and TDPs for impact on interoperability.
