Decision Technologies, an Arlington, VA‑based defense engineering firm, seeks a Junior Combat Systems Engineer to connect radar, missiles, launchers, and C2 architectures. This on-site role and requires DoD secret clearance eligibility.

You'll map requirements across shipboard networks, perform MBSE modeling, and support live-fire testing. You will work with senior engineers on multi-element combat suites, focusing on interfaces, data flows, and system traceability throughout development and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/STEM field.
• Eligible for DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain digital system-of-systems models using SysML and tools like Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Define message protocols and ICDs for interfaces between weapons, radars, and C2 baselines.
• Analyze requirements and perform traceability across the lifecycle using DOORS.
• Analyze end-to-end fire control loops from detection to intercept and optimize latency.
• Run simulations in MATLAB/Python and evaluate sensor fusion and engagement scenarios.
• Participate in end-to-end test planning, execution, and data analysis for live-fire events.
