Job summary

Southeastern Comp Consultants (SCCI) is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to apply robust systems engineering processes for a tactical fire control system. You will work with software, test, configuration management, training, and safety teams across multiple IPTs and WGs, supporting product review and certification activities.

Location is Dahlgren, VA with active clearance required. Responsibilities include developing requirements for weapon systems, performing MBSE tasks, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain active Secret clearance.
• Understanding of systems engineering and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for weapon systems integrated with air, land and sea platforms.
• Apply systems engineering best practices for requirements definition and decomposition.
• Assess operational performance criteria and propose improvements.
• Develop and communicate system plans, progress and results in writing and orally.
• Develop MBSE models for assigned projects and contribute to community of practice.
• Develop solutions for SW and HW centric projects including concepts and requirements.
