The role connects radar, missiles, launchers, and C2 architectures on a shipboard network.

Candidates must be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance. The position is on-site in Arlington, VA with opportunities to work with senior engineers on MBSE, systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain digital system-of-systems models using SysML and tools like Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Define message protocols, track handoffs, latency bounds, and data structures for interfaces linking weapons and radars.
• Analyze top-level needs and decompose requirements with DOORS to ensure readiness and traceability.
• Analyze end-to-end fire control loops from detection to intercept to maximize probability of kill.
• Run and evaluate digital system-level simulations using MATLAB or Python.
