Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking a CMM Programmer I to independently develop and troubleshoot inspection programs using CMM/Gauge software for simple to medium complexity components.

This role works with CMM/CNC programmers and inspectors in a fast-paced team to deliver accurate measurements. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have 3 years of CMM programming experience, and metrology training such as ASME Y14.5.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming experience with automated inspection software.
• BS or AS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality engineering preferred.
• ASME Y14.5M-2009/2018 certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CMM/Gauge inspection plans using 3D CAD models and drawings for simple to medium components.
• Design operator prompts to facilitate machine interface.
• Prove-out CMM/Gauge plans and conduct GRR studies and correlation checks.
• Provide CMM verification and inspection support for components.
• Communicate results with SPC analysis to enable process improvements.
• Maintain CMM/Gauge reports and related documentation.
• Follow ISO processes and participate in continuous improvement.
