Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Rochester, NH is seeking a CNC/ CMM Programmer to develop, modify and validate CMM and gauge inspection programs for complex components.

The role supports production and engineering through inspection planning, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of CMM programming, proficiency with Calypso/PC-DMIS/Modus/ATOS, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CMM/CNC programming experience.
• Experience with Calypso, PC-DMIS, Modus, ATOS.
• Strong GD&T understanding (ASME Y14.5).
• Ability to read drawings and CAD models.
• GR&R studies and SPC analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Create/modify CMM/gauge inspection programs using CAD models and drawings.
• Develop programming standards and operator prompts.
• Prove-out inspection programs validating navigation and measurement.
• Perform GR&R studies and compare results with established methods.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve inspection strategies.
• Interpret CMM results with graphical reporting and SPC analysis.
• Develop inspection documentation and templates.
• Provide inspection support and training for machined components.
• Maintain CMM/gauge equipment and calibrate stylus systems.
• Identify fixturing solutions for complex parts.
• Support selection and implementation of new inspection tech.
• Maintain inspection documentation including plans and reports.
• Contribute to ISO procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Maintain 5S and safe work environment.
