Allocore is seeking a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer in a hybrid role based in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will gain hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, deployments, monitoring, incident response, and automation alongside senior engineers.

This entry-level position targets recent graduates or professionals with 1–3 years of experience who want to build a career in cloud technology, learn Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, and CloudWatch, and contribute to secure, reliable cloud

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 0–3 years of professional experience in IT, Cloud Operations, DevOps, Systems Administration, Software Engineering, Technical Support, or related field.
• Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and interest in AWS.
• Familiarity with Linux or another OS environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day operation, monitoring, and support of AWS cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, alerts, dashboards, and system health.
• Assist with deployments, hotfixes, releases, and routine maintenance under guidance.
• Respond to alerts, support tickets, and service requests; escalate when needed.
• Participate in rotating on‑call to support production environments.
