Job summary
Aligned Technology Group in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement modern cloud automation solutions across AWS environments. You will lead IaC initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and drive observability and operational excellence.
You will mentor teams on GitOps practices, containerization with ECS/EKS, and scalable deployment strategies, ensuring reliability and rapid delivery in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or SRE
- Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of container technologies and Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure deployments
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
- Implement automated deployment and testing workflows
- Configure monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Automate operational tasks and reduce manual processes
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Implement containerized solutions using Amazon ECS and EKS
- Establish DevOps governance and engineering best practices
- Advise teams on GitOps, source control, and release management strategies
