Job summary

Allocore in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Cloud Architect to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions focusing on AWS. You will partner with engineers and business stakeholders to align cloud strategy with objectives.

The role involves leading migrations, building resilient cloud environments, and promoting best practices across teams. Local candidates onsite three days per week are preferred, with a pathway to impact government-grade platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience running production workloads in AWS
• Familiar with cloud-native architecture and security controls (FedRAMP/NIST 800-53)
• Ability to design highly available, scalable cloud solutions
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

• Partner with other cloud architects to design and implement cloud-based solutions
• Design secure cloud environments following best practices
• Lead cloud migrations and ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness
• Build and design cloud-based web services with geographically redundant capabilities
• Automate cloud platforms and educate teams on new tools
