Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Junior-level Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support a DoW program. You will work on design, development, test, and deployment of complex systems in an Agile environment, focusing on cloud instances, automation, and reliable operations.

You will build and maintain Linux/Windows based environments, develop Ansible playbooks, and generate robust system documentation while collaborating across stakeholders and teams to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD 8140 foundational requirements for a System Developer role.
• Experience with Linux and Windows OS, automation tooling, and system hardening.
• Experience with Ansible, Bash or Python for automation and scriptable tasks.
• Experience configuring PKI, IDAM integration, and network/security basics.
• Possesses Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Support DoW customer throughout system lifecycle from development to operations.
• Build mission-critical, highly available cloud infrastructure using automation.
• Develop Ansible playbooks for rapid installation and patching across environments.
• Create system documentation: operational concepts, requirements, interface control docs.
• Assist in system planning and design for resource expansion.
