Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Jr Software Developer in Colorado Springs to help develop secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments. You will work with Kubernetes or Docker, build CI/CD pipelines, and apply GitOps for automated deployments.

You'll collaborate with teams to design containerized solutions, leverage AWS and other cloud platforms, and contribute to DevSecOps practices while growing in a mission-focused environment supporting national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Secret Clearance or above.
• 2 years’ experience developing web-based applications.
• 2 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab CI.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments.
• Design and implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security and automation focus.
• Apply GitOps principles for automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect cloud-native applications.
