Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or relevant engineering experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and development of site engineering projects across commercial, residential, transportation, and municipal sectors.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports under supervision.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop site plans and construction documents.
• Support grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion and sediment control, and roadway design.
• Coordinate with project managers and senior engineers.
• Perform site visits and field inspections to collect data and monitor progress.
• Assist with permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Review construction documents and shop drawings for project compliance.
