Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc (GPI) is seeking an Entry‑Level Civil Site Engineer to join our growing team. You will gain hands‑on experience in site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and construction support while contributing to projects that improve communities and the built environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or relevant engineering experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and development of site engineering projects (commercial, residential, transportation, municipal).
• Prepare engineering design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop site plans and construction documents.
• Support grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion control, and roadway design.
• Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and surveyors.
• Perform site visits and field inspections to gather data and monitor progress.
• Assist with permit applications and regulatory submissions.
• Review construction documents and shop drawings for project compliance.
