AECOM's Civil Engineering Department in the Transportation Business Line seeks an Entry-Level Civil/Highway Engineer to be based in Newark, DE. Under supervision, you will join a design team handling small to large highway projects, including rehabilitation, safety improvements, and widening/reconstruction.

Responsibilities include geometry, pavement design, 3D modeling, and traffic control design. Preferred: FE exam within 6 months, experience with Civil 3D/OpenRoads, and internships in highway

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• FE Exam passed or ability to take within 6 months (preferred).
• Experience with Civil engineering software (Civil 3D/OpenRoads) and related tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Previous internship or work with highway design and transportation projects (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Obtain and review existing information and conduct field investigations.
• Develop technical calculations to advance project design.
• Assist in roadway construction, intersection grading, traffic control, and signing.
• Develop 3D models using Civil engineering software (OpenRoads, Civil 3D).
• Prepare technical reports and project specifications.
