Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Childress, Texas office in 2027. This is not a remote position. Your work will include analyzing data, producing client deliverables, and collaborating across disciplines to shape future built environments.

The role emphasizes learning civil/engineering software, regulatory familiarity, and contributions to multiple projects from day one.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering; Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for built environments.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and clients’ standards.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
