Job summary

ANS is seeking a motivated Engineer I - Civil to join our growing team. You will assist in producing civil engineering designs, construction plans, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers. Expect exposure to Civil 3D workflows, alignments, grading, and site drainage while supporting solar and infrastructure projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 0-3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and a drive for continuous learning.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering B.S
• 0-3 years of experience
• EIT preferred
• 2D CAD intermediate
• Civil 3D CAD novice; able to create basic alignments and existing profiles
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete civil engineering designs and the generation of construction plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits and reports
• Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups
• Basic understanding of Site Grading & Storm Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control and Storm Water Best Management Practices
• Record attention to detail and communicate clearly with the team
• Support renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the US under supervision
