Job summary

ANS is seeking an Engineer III - Civil to join our growing renewable energy team. You will collaborate with hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineers to develop a diverse range of solar, battery storage, and wind projects.

This role emphasizes design excellence, regulatory coordination, and delivering stamped construction drawings. Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree, 4–8 years of experience, and familiarity with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, GIS, and PV CASE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• FE or EIT is strongly encouraged.
• Professional Engineer is nice to have.
• Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D, HydroCAD is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, GIS, PV CASE is nice to have.
• Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or battery storage is preferred.
• 4-8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team on renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV, Wind).
• Interact with hydrology, geotechnical, structural, and electrical teams.
• Prepare Civil 3D construction plans with grading, drainage, and SWPPP considerations.
• Perform stormwater and E&S calculations and ensure plan stamping readiness.
• Engage in multiple projects and coordinate with regulators for permitting.
