Job summary

KS Engineers, P.C. is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join the Civil department in a dynamic, multi-office firm. You will assist with site and highway design, including grading, stormwater management, and erosion control, and contribute to reports and construction plans.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, basic design experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office. Internship experience is welcomed; EIT is a plus, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Internship experience is desired but not required.
• Exposure to site/civil/highway design is a plus.
• EIT is desired but not required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Site/civil/highway design including grading, roadway, stormwater management, green infrastructure, water/sewer mains, signing, and erosion control design.
• Preparation of calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate on design teams to develop construction-ready design documents.
• Plan preparation using AutoCAD.
• Field work includes data collection, soil boring observations, and site inspections.
