Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our Houston, TX office with a target start date in June 2027. You will work alongside experienced engineers on municipal Public Works projects, gaining hands-on experience through planning, design, and construction phases of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 0–1 years of experience in engineering or related fields (internship experience preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other civil engineering design software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of municipal Public Works projects, including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, transmission lines, roadway utilities, paving and roadway improvements, and drainage infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with analysis and design of municipal infrastructure systems.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist with utility coordination, including identification and resolution of utility conflicts and relocations.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and coordination efforts with municipalities, utility providers, and other agencies.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction‑phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high-quality projects for municipal clients.
