Job summary

Ardurra seeks an Entry-Level Civil Engineer for our College Station, TX office to contribute to municipal Public Works projects. You will learn from experienced engineers while assisting in planning, design, and construction phases of water, sewer, drainage, and roadway initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS, with an opportunity to obtain an EIT within the first year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
0–1 year of engineering or related experience; internship preferred.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and related design software preferred.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and design of municipal Public Works projects (water mains, sewer systems, transmission lines, drainage).
Prepare drawings, reports, specifications and other project documentation.
Perform engineering calculations and support analysis and design of municipal systems.
Assist with cost estimates, plans and specifications preparation.
Coordinate utility relocations and conflicts with municipalities and providers.
Conduct field investigations, data collection, site visits and construction observations.
Support permitting and coordination with agencies; liaise with engineers and designers.
