Job summary

BL Companies, Inc. is seeking an early- to mid-level Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in the Miami, FL area. You will gain hands-on experience on site development projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, from concept planning through construction documentation.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with EIT preferred or obtainable within one year. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is desired, along with strong technical, communication,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil site designs for land development projects.
• Assist in site layout and grading to meet zoning requirements.
• Design stormwater management and erosion control systems.
• Research permit requirements and local regulations for project approvals.
• Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and entitlement documents.
• Perform earthwork calculations and drainage analysis.
• Support permit acquisition and modifications during construction.
