BL Companies, Inc. is seeking an early- to mid-level Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in the Miami, FL area. You will gain hands-on experience on site development projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, from concept planning through construction documentation.

Job Location: Miami Office - North Miami, FL 33181

Our growth presents an opportunity for Early and Mid‑Level Civil Engineers to join our Land Development team. This role focuses on gaining hands‑on experience in site development projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, from concept planning through construction documentation.

A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with an EIT certification preferred or obtainable within one year. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred, along with strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.

The role involves developing civil site designs, performing site layout and grading, designing stormwater management systems, researching permit requirements, preparing construction documents, and conducting earthwork calculations. Title and role will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop civil site designs for land development projects.
